Global Variables

Only a partial list.

Reading data from these variables is often very useful. Do not directly write into any of these or other CWE variables, unless instructed otherwise.

CWE Unit Lists:

  • CWE_ALLMEN
  • CWE_USMEN
  • CWE_RUSMEN
  • CWE_RESMEN
  • CWE_Civils
  • CWE_NoSide
  • CWE_Dead

These arrays contain all soldiers and civilians in the mission:

  • CWE_ALLMEN
    • All living units from all sides
  • CWE_USMEN
    • All living US side units
  • CWE_RUSMEN
    • All living USSR side units
  • CWE_RESMEN
    • All living resistance units
  • CWE_Civils
    • All living civilians
  • CWE_NoSide
    • All living units, whose side couldn't be determined
  • CWE_Dead
    • All dead units from all sides
CWE_Global

Type: Array

  • Stores most of the CWE's internal values.
  • In the future, there will (hopefully) be an interface of sqf-functions to extract any required data from it.
CWE_GlobalReady

Type: Boolean

  • Indicates that the CWE_Global variable has been initialized.
CWE_Mission

Type: Array

  • Preferences and resources for the current mission.
CWE_MissionReady

Type: Boolean

  • Indicates that the CWE_Mission variable has been initialized.
CWE_MissionWeather

CWE_Time

Type: Number

  • Time from the beginning of the mission. More info here.
CWE_InitDone

Type: Boolean

  • Indicates that "CWE_Init.sqs" has been executed, but does not guarantee that the init is actually finished. This is only used to prevent the "CWE_Init.sqs" from being executed twice.
CWE_MainInitFinished

Type: Boolean

  • Indicates that "CWE_Init.sqs" has reached the end of its main initialization and the variables defined in the file have been initialized. Init time may still not, however, be over yet.
CWE_ObjNull

Type: Object (game logic)

  • A default object that is returned by some CWE functions to indicate that no object matching the conditions was found.
CWE_MiscObj

Type: Array

  • Array containing effect particles such as blood or bullet holes. All items in this array are deleted from time to time as an optimization.
CWE_Version

Type: Array

  • Info regarding the current version of the mod.
  • Work in progress, subject to change.
CWE_Effects

Type: Array

  • An old settings system, subject for removal.
  • Do not use for anything.
